Ceilidh Business Meeting Fighter/Rapier/Youth Armored Combat Practice Equestrian Scribal/Thingmakers Bardic A&S Archery

Ceilidh, pronounced 'kay-lee, is a Scottish word meaning party or gathering.  This gathering is an opportunity for the members of the Barony to sing, dance, make merry, share arts and sciences projects, enjoy good food, drink, dancing, and fellowship. It is also a chance for newcomers to see just what the SCA has to offer.
The ceilidh happens the second Monday of every month from October through the following May, 7:00 p.m. at: AT THIS TIME WE ARE WORKING ON SECURING A SITE. PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES AS THEY COME AVAILABLE. This gathering is garb optional but making an attempt to wear clothing as was worn prior to the 17th century is appreciated. Loaner garb is usually available from Gold Key. Don't let the lack of garb keep you from the fun!

Business Meeting
Held the third Monday of each month beginning at 7 p.m. at Round Table Pizza ,
6055 Ulali Drive, NE, Keizer. All officers and deputies attend. The populace is welcome. Dress is modern. For more information, contact the Seneschal (see Officers page).

Heavy Weapons / Rapier Fencing Fighter Practice / Youth Armored Combat

Heavy (Armored) and Rapier (Fencing) fighter practices are held every Thursday night at 7pm at:

9755 Willamette St.
Aumsville, OR. 97325

Spectators are welcome to encourage the fighters.

The Mid-Willamette Valley Fighter's Practice is held the second Thursday of every month at the same site and routinely draws 20 + fighters from as far north as Vancouver and as far south as Klamath Falls.

The Golden Apple Tourney is held the third Thursday of every month for Heavy Fighters and first Thursday for Rapier Fighters during regular TP fighter practice. The Golden Apple format will be determined by the previous winner, with the winner receiving the coveted Golden Apple trophy and a prize provided by the previous winner (Max $20).

Equestrian Practice

ABSOLUTELY everyone is welcome! Please come support our great barony and equestrian group!  Horse experience is not necessary!  You can come take pictures, watch, ask questions or even try something new!  We will be able to do general riding and gaming practice! We can also facilitate learning about horses, learning how to help even if you don't have a horse! Plenty of parking!

Scribal/Thingmakers Nights

Scribal/Thingmakers night is on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Young At Art: 1255 Broadway St NE #190, Salem, OR 97301. Parking is behind the building.
Scribal is scheduled for 6 PM until 9 PM. Baronial scribal supplies will be available. Contact the Baronial Scribe for more information.

Bardic Music Night
Next Bardic TBA. Learn the songs that are sung at bardic circles so you can participate at your next event or come to just listen to songs and stories. Dress is modern.

Arts and Science Night
Normally the 4th Sunday, 1-4 pm during the colder months and the 4th Monday in the evening during the summer months.. Site, date, and time may change depending on subject. Topics / crafts taught vary each session. For more information contact the Arts and Sciences Minister (see Officers page). Dress is modern.

Archery Practice
Archery Practice is scheduled for each week on Tuesdays.
On the first Tuesday of each month there will also be a social pot luck during archery practice.
