Current location is Checkpoint 221, directions. Check the official FB page for additional details or contact the Seneschal.
Ceilidh, pronounced ‘kay-lee, is a Scottish word meaning party or gathering. This gathering is an opportunity for the members of the Barony to sing, dance, make merry, share arts and sciences projects, enjoy good food, drink, dancing, and fellowship. It is also a chance for newcomers to see just what the SCA has to offer.
This gathering is garb optional but making an attempt to wear clothing as was worn prior to the 17th century is appreciated. Loaner garb is usually available from Gold Key. Don’t let the lack of garb keep you from the fun! For more information please contact the Chatelaine.
Location varies – check Facebook or contact the Seneschal for the address.
Open – Everyone is welcome! Horse experience is not necessary. Come take pictures, watch, ask questions or even try something new. We will be able to do general riding and gaming practice. We can also facilitate learning about horses, learning how to help even if you don’t have a horse. ASTM/SEI approved head gear is highly recommended for all riding participants.
Dogs: Dogs are allowed on site but they must be leashed.
Helmets: ASTM/SEI approved head gear is highly recommended for all riding participants.
PLEASE RSVP with Tassi if you plan on attending. All interested in attending (bringing horses or spectators) need to RSVP so that we know whom to contact should we need to cancel. Contact Tassi by email at TerraPomaria.Equestrian@antir.org.
A Facebook event will be created for each event to list the time and any additional info for it.
